Steel brown obverse with a bit of roughness. THe reverse is patinated a marroon color.
Upright 5, hole in ear. And a sharp hole it is! Superb chocolate with scattered evenly blended red. Lots of luster. Bold very early die state and showing a strong strike.
1819 O-114 VF. Cleaned long ago now retoned a medium gray with lighter high points. Just a few marks.
1834 O-102 VF30+. Lovely old crusty blue gray with some luster in the protected areas.
Huge cud covers the date. The piece that broke from the die causing the cud was struck between the dies causing some die damage to the left of the cud which shows on this coin.
Lovely bronzed proof. Dated March 23. Rim cuds below the LIBERTY cap.
